A dead tree sitting directly over service lines is one of those situations where waiting is simply not an option. It's not a matter of if something goes wrong - it's when. Dead wood is unpredictable. It doesn't give you warning before a branch lets go.

Here's what we were working with: a large, fully dead tree with no foliage left, positioned right next to utility lines running through the yard. The trunk and upper canopy were completely bare while everything around it was green and healthy. That contrast tells the whole story. The tree was gone long before we got there - it was just still standing.

Getting a tree like this down safely takes planning. You can't just fell it in one direction and hope for the best, not with lines that close and structures nearby. We brought in the equipment needed to work the tree down in sections, keeping everything controlled and away from the lines and the garage next door.

The result is a clear, open backyard with the hazard fully gone. No more guessing when the next windstorm might bring something down. The yard has room to breathe again, and the homeowner doesn't have to think about it anymore - which is really the whole point.

If you've got a dead tree, a leaning tree, or anything growing too close to utility lines, don't sit on it. Those situations don't get better on their own. We're happy to come take a look and walk you through what needs to happen.
