Dead trees don't wait for a convenient time to become a problem. One bad storm, one strong gust - and that tree is coming down one way or another. The question is whether it comes down on your terms or nature's.
This dead oak had to go. No leaves, no life left in it - just dry, brittle wood holding itself together until it couldn't anymore. A tree like this becomes unpredictable fast. Dead wood gets weak, branches start dropping, and the whole structure can fail without much warning. On a property with open space and a fence line nearby, that's not a risk worth sitting on.
We used a crane-assisted removal to bring this one down section by section. That approach gives us control - especially on a tree that's already compromised and can't be trusted to behave predictably during the cut. Each piece comes down exactly where we want it, not where gravity decides.
Once the tree was down, we cut it clean and left the space ready for whatever comes next. The stump is right there waiting for a grinder if that's the direction the property owner wants to go. No debris left behind, no mess to sort through.
If you've got a dead or dying tree on your property, the longer you wait, the less control you have over how it comes down. We handle tree removal safely and cleanly - from the first cut to the final cleanup.
